The Lençóis Maranhenses National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is known for its vast desert landscape of large white sand dunes and paradisiacal lagoons.
The Lençóis Maranhenses National Park is a unique spectacle, where the wind creates ever-changing landscapes. Each lagoon hidden among the dunes, each sunset over the vast expanse of sand and water, is an experience beyond words.
The scenery transports us to another dimension, and perhaps for this reason, it was used in the Avengers film series as Planet Vormir.
Our goal is to offer an authentic and unforgettable experience: three days traversing the national park, immersed in nature, under a starry sky, and alongside incredible people like you who have decided to embark on this adventure!

What we offer ...
The expedition was created as a profound and authentic way to experience this Natural Heritage Site. We will hike approximately 45km (28 miles) between dunes and lakes, sleep and eat with local natives, and discover must-see attractions in the National Park over the three days of the expedition. As in life, more important than arriving is the transformation that occurs along the journey.
Over the three-day crossing, we will cover 45 km immersed in the vastness of the Lençóis Maranhenses. To recharge our batteries during the expedition, we will enjoy the hospitality of two traditional communities, the only ones authorised to live within the park. Their homes, true oases in the middle of the desert, are havens of simplicity and comfort amidst the dunes.
We will stay in hammocks with showers and full meals lovingly prepared by the residents themselves and our support team.
